CREATE AN INFOGRAPHIC

Hi guys!
In this new post I am going to show you a very funny and motivating way to show graphic information through an INFOGRAPHIC.

This type of resource is very useful because we can show the most relevant information that we want our students to learn. With the use of this, we help them to learn in a more motivating way and the information is easier to assimilate.
In this case, I have used the theme of the animal kingdom, so that the following infographic is divided into each of the different kingdoms with the most important characteristics.
For this, I used the CANVA tool, very easy to use and it allows you to use the template that you like among the thousands that this tool has. What I liked the least is that if you want to choose between all the images available you have to pay the premium fee. In general it is very useful and easy to use. I recommend it to make infographics of the different subjects and print them and use them as posters to decorate the class.

Below I leave other websites to do infographics, I hope you help.

USING MINDMAP IN A PROJECT

Hello friends!!
This week I'll show you an example of how to design a mental map online. To do this, we are going to carry out a project aimed at a sixth grade class in elementary education.

This project consists of several phases, which can be seen in the different parts of the mindmap.
The hook of this project is about a conversation that the teacher has about a student who has been near the Manzanares River (Madrid) and observed that the water was very dirty. As a result of this, the teacher initiates the project with a guiding question related to the topic that is being worked in natural sciences and social sciences. The question is: Why is the water in our rivers polluted?
After this, work begins in teams and research using all available resources. This type of project is divided into three tasks with their respective activities and finally a final product.
As a guide we will use the mindmap to explain and organize the project, in the map we will find the objectives, contents, tasks, activities, resources and the evaluation of the process.

The use of mindmaps is very useful when it comes to displaying information in an organized way, in my case I have used the MINDMEISTER tool.
It is very simple to use and I have not encountered difficulties.
On the other hand, I would have been assured that this tool would have offered me more customization options.

Then I leave the link to other websites in the pages you can make mindmaps online.

HOW TO EXPRESS FEELINGS THROUGH COMICS

Hello everyone!
This week I'm going to teach you to work with a very fun tool which you can use with your students to work on the feelings and translate them into a story format. In addition our students can create their own stories simulating different situations. These types of activities are very motivating and they develop their imagination.

So in this post I'll show you how to create comic through different online tools.
We can find in the following links that I indicate below, different applications.

StoryboardThat: http://www.storyboardthat.com/
Comic and Meme Creator:
In this case I have used PIXTON. This free tool to create comic seems pretty good because the quality of the images and the infinity of options that gives us allows us to make really good images.

On the other hand, I found it quite complicated to learn all the options and know the different options that this tool gives us.
I can also say that being a free trial does not let you use it for more than 15 days and some options are premium.

In summary, it can be used with our students and create great stories like the one I show you next. It is an example of the PIXTON application. This story is about cultural diversity and bullying. I hope you like it.

Greetings and see you soon!!

CREATING EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT SLIDESHOW

Hi guys!
This week I will talk about some very useful tools to create educational materials and use them in our classes.
As we already know one of the most used tools for the presentation of information is the use of slides. Most people use the POWER POINT tool, since it is the best known in the world of office automation.
Below I am going to leave you several links of different free tools that we can use for the presentation of materials in our classes.

Genial.lyhttps://www.genial.ly/
Prezihttps://prezi.com/
In my case, I have chosen the tool GENIAL.LY, and after using it I think it is an effective application in which we can work in different ways. I liked it a lot because it allows you to create interactive images and add all kinds of links and videos, and in my opinion I think that all of these are very motivating resources that attract the attention of our students.

Below is an example of the tool Genial.ly which I used for one of my CLIL LESSON in 2 grade of primary education

I hope you liked it and it will help you a lot!
See you soon!!

Regards
Here you have a video of the representation and implementation of the CLIL LESSON on the water cycle using Genial.ly.
